In addition to being a Certificated Flight Instructor - Instruments for Airplanes & Helicopters, Richard is also an Instrument rated Commercial Pilot (Multi Engine, Single Engine, and Helicopter), and is certified by the FAA as an Advanced & Instrument Ground Instructor. Richard is on the FAA’s Regional Safety Team for the Richmond, Virginia FSDO (Flight Standards District Office). He was awarded the prestigious “Master” level safety award from the FAA, and has worked in Emergency Management and as a Flight Paramedic (Both Fixed & Rotorwing) for the last 18 years. He has managed numerous air medical programs, has helped start three programs from the ground up, and has also worked as Base Supervisor for several CAMTS accredited rotor-wing programs. He is an experienced Flight Paramedic and Manager for both fixed wing and rotor wing operations, and is also Instructor credentialed in BCLS, ACLS, PALS, ITLS, NRP, PEPP, PHTLS, and EMT-Paramedic.
Richard oversees the daily operations of Critical Care Concepts; a State approved ALS Training Agency with the Virginia Office of EMS, and has provided training programs throughout the entire US, as well as in the Middle East, Canada, South America, Central America, and South Korea, in a multitude of areas. He was recently welcomed to the Editorial Board with the Air Medical Journal, and to the IAFP as a State Delegate. Richard assisted with several chapters in the newest Mosby Paramedic textbook, "Paramedic Practice Today" and is also a regular contributing writer to Vertical 911 magazine, Helicopter Life magazine, & Waypoint AirMed & Rescue magazine. His works have also been published in various nursing and EMS journal publications.

Christina is currently a Critical Care Flight Nurse who brings a wealth of experience as Director of Critical Care and Emergency Services for a local Trauma Center, and also is the Director of Operations for Critical Care Concepts, Inc. located in Suffolk, VA. She is responsible for operations of the Intensive Care units, Critical Care units, Telemetry, step-down units, and the Emergency Department. She is Instructor credentialed in BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and numerous other Pediatric and Adult Nursing certifications.
Christina is also the Regional Ambassador for the NC area Chapter of AACN. Her work has been published nationally in various critical care nursing journals, and she received the coveted national award from “Who’s Who in Business”, and “Best of the Best” in Female Executives. She has worked in Critical Care and Emergency Departments with various Level I & II Trauma Centers in Pennsylvania, New York, North Carolina, and Virginia for over the last decade.

Chairman of the Riverside Medical Group Board of Directors, Dudley is also service line chief of the Tappahannock Division of Riverside Medical Group and a member of the Medical Staff of Riverside Walter Reed Hospital in Gloucester. He is the local medical examiner for the commonwealth of Virginia, board member and past president of the Virginia College of Emergency Physicians, and chief medical adviser for the Virginia Association of Volunteer Rescue Squads
He served four years as a member of the Governor’s EMS Advisory Board for the Commonwealth of Virginia. He is a graduate of the University of Virginia, Eastern Virginia Medical School and Virginia Commonwealth University and did a family practice residency at Riverside Regional Medical Center.

As the Chief Medical Director for Critical Care Concepts, TJ brings classroom and clinical expertise in Emergency Medicine with his vast experience as an ER Physician. He has guest lectured at various conferences and medical schools, as well as authoring several cutting-edge articles on Emergency Medicine.
He has overseen operations for several EMS Departments and Fire / Rescue Squads in the past, working as their Operational Medical Director and is familiar with EMS Regulations and Protocol formation and development. He is very involved on a State level with the Virginia State Office of EMS as an OMD, and the Regional EMS Council in his area. Also, he works closely with the Virginia College of Emergency Physicians and Critical Care Concepts in ALS Training and Quality Assurance in their delivery of educational offerings.

In addition to being a full time Firefighter and Paramedic for the City of Newport News, VA, Eric is also Critical Care Concepts lead ACLS & PALS Instructor. He retired from the US Army, where is worked in Air Support Operations and is instructor credentialed in ITLS with the Virginia College of Emergency Physician’s. As a Virginia Office of EMS certified EMT and Paramedic Instructor, Eric also coordinates the majority of our EMS programs and clinical rotations for our participants.
Carlos R Tavarez

Carlos has been working as a Firefighter and Paramedic with City of Orlando Fire Department for the last twelve (12) years. Carlos also is actively working in critical care and brings 10 years of flight experience with a large HEMS service in Florida. In addition, Carlos enjoys teaching and working as the Paramedic educator and Program director with his Local College in Orlando. He frequently lectures at his Level I Trauma Center, where he works as an Educator and ER/Trauma Nurse with Pediatric patients.

Joey and I met during one of our CFRN / FP-C Review Courses and immediately impressed me as a bright, energetic, and very knowledgeable Flight Paramedic. He has worked as a Flight Paramedic with Reach & Air Angels in Chicago, IL, and developed their training and orientation program that they utilized. He has recently completed his first book and is awaiting publishing that will be the main orientation manual. Joey travels nationally teaching ACLS, PALS, BTLS, and BCLS with Critical Care Concepts in addition to his normal duties of working as a Ground and Flight Paramedic in the Chicago area. Lastly, Joey assisted with the development of one of the largest HEMS operators in the Middle East.
William Stubba

Bill previously held the position of Critical Care Supervisor and Compliance Manager for two CAMTS Accredited Air Medical Transport programs. He is currently working as a Medical Base Supervisor for a program consisting of seven rotor-wing bases. His program is part of the nation’s largest provider of air medical emergency transport services and systems. Bill brings over 25 years of experience in Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, and EMS to our programs. Bill has been involved in the critical care transport field for the past 13 years. (Rotor\Fixed\Ground) Bill is instructor credentialed in ACLS, PALS, BLS and NRP and is also an Instructor Coordinator for EMS in NY State. Bill has been actively involved in EMS education and program development in the Country of Poland since 1999.
Buford "Josh" Rife

Josh has been with us for over 5 years and will be assisting with our CFRN and FP-C Review Cour ses. Still working part-time as a Paramedic to maintain his skillset, Josh works daily as a State Trooper with the Virginia State Police and has experience as a Flight Paramedic in the past. He is Instructor credentialed in ACLS, PALS, BCLS, and BTLS.
Phong Nygen

Currently a Flight Nurse in Hawaii, Phong is our newest addition to the C3 team, and he will be working on our overseas contract in the Middle East. He brings over a decade of experience with Emergency Nursing and Flight Nursing to our customers and will be a valuable asset.

In addition to being one of my dearest and closest friends for almost ten years, Deb has worked as Program Director and Chief Flight Nurse for several CAMTS accredited Air Medical programs. She is currently working as a Flight Nurse / Flight Paramedic for a program consisting of three helicopters and a MICU ground unit. She has over thirty years of experience in Critical Care. She has worked and Directed one of the nations largest private air medical services in the US, and oversaw operations of approximately 15 rotor wing units, with operations in eight (8) States. She is currently serving as Editor at Large for the Air Medical Journal and is on the Educational Committee for AAMS. Deb is Instructor credentialed in TNATC, NRP, ACLS, PALS, and ITLS and is well known for her inter-national lectures on Trauma Management.
Ryan Nau

Ryan was born and raised in West Virginia and received his BSN from Shepherd University in May of 2004. He then moved to Norfolk, VA to pursue his critical care experience at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in the General Intensive Care Unit. After 2.5 years of ICU nursing, Ryan began his graduate education at Old Dominion University and graduated in December, 2008 with his Master's in Nursing. He is currently practicing anesthesia in Winchester Virginia at Winchester Medical Center as a CRNA. Ryan enjoys snowboarding and climbing in the mountains when he's not in the OR.
